
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for the channel's shows 'Squawkon the Street' and Closing Bell'. She is an Ohio native, and wasn't interested in currencies or markets while in college. She interned at ForexTV.com when she was studying at New York University. This was the place where she got her first exposure to business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. Following that, she completed a four month-long internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After that, she returned to the United States and was hired by Bloomberg's New York office. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC employed her as a correspondent in December 2013. She has served as anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange as well as 'Power Lunch', before landing the job on 'Closing Bell' in the year 2018. Eisen is the co-anchor of "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. A prominent journalist in the business world today Her primary focus has been on global consumer news ever since she joined CNBC.
